300TUBES

300 Tubes is a gallery and art archive located in South Tel Aviv. The client, a creator, artist, and collector envisioned a space that would function not only as a venue for exhibiting art but also as a meticulously catalogued archive of his works; a space that in itself, would be conceived as a work of art.

Following months of research, prototyping, and material experimentation, the design team developed a modular storage system based on a repeating unit a grid of protected cylindrical tubes engineered to withstand humidity and moisture. Each tube incorporates a multi-stage threaded closure and is precisely stored within a structural wire mesh framework, forming a sculptural architectural composition that defines the character of the space.

Beyond the archival system, the project includes a hosting and lounge area, featuring a curated wine library and an integrated artist’s studio.

Together, these elements create a spatial dialogue between function and form, between order and artistic expression. a space where architecture itself becomes an instrument of creative preservation.
